The Sculpture Park

2017
Nordland Hospital, Bodø, Norway

The sculpture park features large human figures made of polished concrete with marble gravel in blue and black. Between them are light sculptures featuring domes in a warm, red colour.
The sculptures have a dual expression. They are female on one side and male on the other. Therefore, the figures have different content depending on the angle from which you view them. In this way, they demonstrate that the hospital is a place for all people, without preference for gender, ethnicity, or other conditions being experienced as inequalities. The sculpture on the terrace depicts a double human figure, cast in concrete with white marble gravel.
Together, the artworks form eye-catching groupings that radiate life, will, and power.
