We want it to last forever performance project at Henie Onstad Art Center, Høvikodden, Norway
We Want it to Last Forever is a multimedia work exploring what happens when music, text and visual are united. To illustrate the merging of the different art forms, they used the stage itself as the axis of the performance.
Cecilie Løveid about the performance: “I think I will be in a booth … performing texts, I will be dressed modernly, from my time. It is Inghild who directs the whole thing, creating the surroundings. Bjørn will be dressed as a musician should be – in a white tie outfit, not in the “Høvikodden outfit”, corduroy trousers and vest. Bjørn will play works for double bass from the 70s, as well as premiere a commissioned work from the Kulturhuset in Stockholm, “Distraction”. Around us, there will be props, sounds and lights.”
